Personal Training Academy

Our Personal Training Academy offers tailored training programmes to meet your fitness and health goals. A friendly, flexible service, qualified health fitness intructors design a programme based around your needs and support you all the way.

Sessions are available in the fitness centre, swimming pool, running track and even at your home.

Giving you the knowledge and confidence to develop your own everyday routines, the programmes can help improve endurance, strength and tone, reduce body fat, alleviate everyday stress and enhance self esteem.

How does it work?

The Personal Trainer designs the programme and supervises each session. Clients can choose from four to 24 sessions over a six to eight-week period.

Who will I work with?

The service is delivered by qualified Personal Trainers, with experience in exercise coaching, testing and performance.

Erin Molloy
Erin has 15 years experience in the world of dance and fitness instruction, delivering classes in aerobic exercise, pilates and stretch. Erin has gone on to gain her Level 3 qualification in Advanced instruction and Personal Training, as well as Mat work Pilates. Erin has a passion for exercise, good health and well being which is reflected in her work. Affiliations: Register of Exercise Professionals (Level 3)

Fiona Miller
Fiona has many years experience working in a women's gym, which provided her with a sound knowledge and understanding of all the main principals of exercise and nutrition. Through her own enjoyment and passion for training, Fiona motivates, encourages and inspires others to achieve the results they are looking for. Fiona works with people of all ages and abilities specialising in weight loss, muscle toning/building and nutrition. Affiliations: Fiona is a member of the Register of Exercise Professionals (Level 3)

Alistair Booth
Alistair graduated from the University's School of Sport with a degree in Sports Studies, specialising in exercise physiology and sports science in his final two years. Alistair is now employed as a Personal Trainer and Fitness Officer at the University while also undertaking an Msc in Sports Management. Strength and conditioning, aerobic conditioning, toning, weight loss and group training are among some of Alistair’s specialties. Affiliations: Register of Exercise Professionals (Level 2)
