Student Performance Sport Programme

An orienteer receives tailored strength and conditioningThe Student Performance Sport Programme (SPSP) was established in 2001 and is designed to support student athletes at Stirling to develop their academic and sporting talents to their fullest potential.

Selected athletes benefit from a number of support services:

  • Tailored strength and conditioning (S&C)
  • Fitness testing
  • Diet and nutritional advice
  • Academic flexibility

The programme is delivered by staff in the School of Sport and is based at the MP Jackson Fitness Centre on campus.
