Athlete support

Performance-supportStirling is recognised as a centre of excellence training elite athletes. We are home to national training centres in football, swimming, tennis and triathlon.

Leading athletes, including our own students, benefit from the first class facilities and performance sport services, shaped by our research in sport, health and exercise science.

Stirling also runs an International Sports Scholarship Programme and manages Winning Students, the national sport scholarship programme for students in colleges and universities across Scotland.
